It's Pumpkin Season
Pumpkin everything everywhere.
Labor Day weekend has come and gone and I hope you were able to spend time with family and friends, relaxing and enjoying the outdoors. I missed last month’s post as life just got away from me. We have a major project going on at home (new siding! exciting!) and kiddo is starting preschool so just lots of changes happening. So this newsletter I’ll include both what was published last month AND what’s coming this month.
Fall bakes are here. I try to include at least one pumpkin recipe each season because it’s a popular flavor. However, there are tons of other things - apple/apple cinnamon, pear, ginger and nutmeg that all also feel very cozy and warm. I have a bunch of ideas on my website under the Fall Category.
Here’s what published last month:

Buttermilk English Muffin Bread - A recipe I started a few years ago and had to put it down more than once because it just wouldn’t turn out exactly how I wanted. I finally cracked the code to getting the flavor AND texture I wanted and this bread is SO delicious toasted and slathered with butter and jam.
Challah - I love challah and I wanted to have a recipe on my site that felt traditional. This one I worked on to be able to give a good friend some for her wedding.
Apple Pie Rice Krispies Treats - Marshmallowy and classic but also with all the apple pie flavors and spices, making them the easy fall treat.
Caramel Apple Galette - Homemade salted caramel, red and green apples and flaky pie crust. Please don’t skip adding vanilla ice cream and extra caramel on top for the perfect dessert this fall.
Ultimate Vanilla Bean Cheesecake - This cheesecake is chef’s kiss. Creamy, lightly tangy, perfect on it’s own but ready for ANY topping you could want - fruit, chocolate, etc. Plus, the recipe includes a browned butter whipped cream.
And here’s what’s coming THIS month:

Sweet Potato Loaf - Move over pumpkin bread, sweet potato loaf is it’s more unique sweet sister. Just as delicious, and topped with a cinnamon cream cheese frosting.
Thin + Crispy Focaccia - I have many thick and pillowy soft focaccia recipes, this one is stretched much further allowing it to crisp up a little more and is perfect for slicing in half for sandwiches!
No Knead Chai Cinnamon Raisin Bread - No knead bread is great, mix everything in a bowl, let it sit, pop it in a Dutch oven to bake. Voila! This one instead of regular cinnamon raisin is infused with chai.
Big Batch Dinner Rolls - Hosting a crowd for the holidays? Maybe your family just loves bread. This recipe produces 24 good size dinner rolls.
Chewy Double Chocolate Cookies - Chewy chocolate cookies, WITH chocolate chips!
Bread Babes in the Bakeosphere
I wanted to say thank you for everyone who has subscribed and bakes any of my recipes. It really brings me so much joy to find out people like what I’ve shared/created. Gifting is my love language, and I also spend a lot of time thinking about love (I’m so lucky to be able to photograph weddings for a job as well!) and food really is a love language in it’s own. I love baking for others and I’m sure many of my readers do too. That being said, it means THE WORLD when you take the time to bake a recipe AND come back and leave a review. Here’s one from my small batch focaccia recipe that brought a smile to my face. I’ll be sharing more comments like this in the future as well, so you might see your face in this newsletter if you’re kind enough to leave a review or share your bake with me on social media.
Thanks Kate!
